32" CZ 612 SS Gunworks Prototype
This was the last gun built by Denny Tubbs it was never fully finish as he was still in the process of putting it together when he became sick in early January 2022. The story behind this gun is this was one of two guns being built for the Shot Show in Las Vegas that year. In late 2021 we (Gunworks) had parted ways with Ithaca Gun and we were looking for other platforms to bring into the turkeyshoot market.
After looking at dozens of options and talking to various companies we decided to mock up some prototype builds of the CZ 612 pump action shotgun. This was one of the final 2 guns that Dad would build the other was a roughed prototype prostock version that used some left over components that we had as spares for Ithaca builds. This was going to be the first full build out of the CZ 612 in full dress. It was nearly completed when Dad started getting sick. Ultimately he slowly declined and ended up missing the trip and ended up in the hospital the day after I had taken off to Las Vegas for the show. I've had many people offer to buy this gun, and I've had more people try to buy the LSS Signature Series 1-8 guns that the total of the 8 available. So I figured the best way to go about this is to just raffle it off.
Its a complete ready to go match gun. it will come with an assortment of chokes as well.
The total package finish has been upgraded for the occasion as it is a true one of one gun. It will feature the same engraving layout as the 1 of 8 guns, it will be the only one that Dads signature is engraved on the barrel itself. The action will be fully engraved and anodized ad the barrel will be blued, the action comes with a mounted scope base as well.
This was a project that it has taken me 2 years of mental space to come to terms with his passing. Its something that he would want out there competing and not sitting in the shop unfinished and collecting dust in a corner. We released the 1 of 8 Series on his birthday this year, Its only fitting to cap off the year with this gun as it belongs on the line shooting.
